Welsh lady traditional costume

The national dress of Wales or the traditional Welsh Lady costume for young girls is most commonly worn on St David's Day at school or eisteddfodau and for annual photographs leading up to the first of March.

These complete outfits, sold in our shop for many years, consists of a red skirt, checked over top, white collar edged in lace and black and white pinny. Commonly, a traditional hat is worn with the costume although some girls prefer to do their hair nice for photos.

This elastic skirt should allow for a couple of years worth of special occasions.
