Halloween displays

Summer may be over but October is a wonderful time for creative gardening. Even if it's too cold to go outside, there's plenty of ways to put those green fingers to good use, with some seasonal indoor gardening.
Halloween is nearly upon us and these simple ideas make an effective Halloween display inside or outside the house, which will brighten up your home right up until you're ready to start working on Christmas displays.
If you are visiting your local garden centre, you are sure to find an array of autumnal coloured heathers, perfect to brighten up your pots this time of year. Using these heathers, I have made a table display for indoors, and a hanging basket for outside.
Using a trick or treat bucket, just make a hole in the bottom to allow for drainage, fill with compost, and plant your heather, I have used a nice bright orange to match my pot. All you need to do now is add your favourite spooky miniatures. Check out our special Halloween collection.
You can brighten up your old Summer baskets and pots in the same way.
