Granting wishes for seriously ill children

10 percent of sales go to Dreams and Wishes

Fairies are well known for granting wishes to special and deserving children but sometimes they can only give a little help. Dreams and Wishes is a fantastic UK charity that offers support to seriously ill children and their families whilst also helping to make life long wishes come true.

Our kind fairy friends and the Finding Fairies team are both lending their support to this good cause. We offer special thanks to the fairies of Pontypridd in South Wales who for one day only are revealing their magical fairy village to visitors of Ynysangharad War Memorial Park in order to raise awareness and collect donations for this great charity. In addition to this, Sugar and Spice, our physical shop in Pontypridd will be conducting a fairy trail, which is sure to lead to lots of fun and excitement for boys and girls visiting the charity event on August 8th 2018.

If you would like to support our team's fundraising and give thanks to the fairies but don't live anywhere near Pontypridd, you can still be involved. Finding Fairies is donating 10% of all our takings across the website this week, starting Monday the 23rd July and ending Sunday (Now extended to the 5th of August). You can also donate money directly on our justgiving page. In return for whatever support you can afford, we offer lots of photographs and features from the #fairiesinthepark event and from other fairies in the country.

To join in the conversation and invite your friends to take part or donate, you can use the hashtags #fairiesinthepark or #tylwythtegynyparc (fairies in the park in Welsh) when talking about the event on social media. We encourage children and adults visiting the Ponty Fairy Trail to dress up as fairies and elves. Of course you're welcome to join us wherever you are in the world and send us your lovely pictures.
